Would you buy a property to rent out if it was part of a homeowners association? I am looking at a condo that I think I can get well below market. But it has a HOA, so I’m not sure what challenges I might have.
Get a copy of the HOA covenants. Make sure you’re familiar with any rental stipulations they have.
Have you reviewed the covenants yet? Is this a standalone condo, a PUD, or a condo in a building?
